
This portrait of Brutus the English Mastiff is on a 5" x 5"
watercolor Art Board with ink, watercolor and color pencil. I really like these Art Boards for mixed media works. They're archival hardwood panels with cold press watercolor paper on the front. These portraits don't need to be framed: there's a keyhole back for hanging, I color the sides with color pencil to match the front and I finish them off with Krylon UV-resistant spray.

When my client first contacted me a couple of years ago, it was for a
"Paintings with Petzazz" style portrait of Brutus. The color scheme of the new portrait is a bit skewed from reality, but not as much as the Petzazz one.

She has two other dogs, Jinx (Doberman) and Eazy (Belgian Malinois) and commissioned these ArtBoard portraits of each dog. I've already finished
Jinx, but still have Eazy's portrait left to do.

hola yo tambien pinto perros y gatos ,sobre todo, galgos ya que tengo 2 en casa y una gata.me encanta ver lo que hacen los demas artistas y como plasman las miradas y movimientos de esos animales. Todavia no me atrevo a pintarlos de cuerpo entero asi que solo hago las cabezas ...poco a poco espero conseguirlo .Os dejo los enlaces de mis 2 blog por si quiere venir a hacerles una visita , un saludo y hasta pronto
