LABRADOR RETRIEVER ART BY SHEILA WEDEGIS OIL IN PROGRESS

 

 I've been working on this 28" x 22" oil for the past few days.  The reference for this piece came from a Facebook friend in Scotland.  I am so excited to be able to paint it.  The process has been working dark and light especially near the yellow Lab.    When the paint drys on the Lab I will go back and glaze color to bring out his coat and color.

   Tomorrow I will start working on the black Lab. All areas of the canvas are in constant working and reworking until I come to the end I am happy with. I hope you enjoy seeing this piece in progress
