Yellow Labs by Catherine Temple

I recently finished this acrylic and gouache portrait of two wonderful yellow labs for a new client of mine from Kansas. The portrait came about because this client was visiting some family here in Washington who happened to be past clients of mine from when I painted their lab mix, Hannah, some years back. They were impressed enough with the portrait to take some time out of their vacation to stop in for a visit with me and talk to me about details for a portrait of their own.


Portraits make wonderful gifts for family and friends and any occasion is a good reason to commission one. This one is going to be a surprise for his wife's birthday. With the holidays coming maybe you'd like one for yourself or the pet lover in your life.
