"Puppy Butt" and "Puppy Legs" are two small watercolors(5x7 and 5x5) I worked on in my studio this afternoon. My brother's new black lab puppy was the inspiration for these quick and vibrant sketches. For me, they were an exercise in quick color choices and to lay down the watercolor as loosely as possible. I am very pleased with the results. Emmy makes a great model don't you think?
