This is a portrait of Zoe, a lovely brindle greyhound done in the realistic style on a small 6" x 8" panel. The brindle stripes were a challenge---the reference photo had to be taped at 1" intervals to make sure I was getting the stripes in the right places. The muted dark green background really shows off her coat color.
