Hi fellow dog lovers, my name is Jess and I have recently been accepted to join the CAG! I'm very excited and looking forward to talk with and learn from everyone. To start I have an associate's degree in fine art and I am currently working on my bachelor's in illustration. On the side I have a small business doing fine art pet portraits. My main subject is animals with 90% being dogs. My favorite mediums are scratchboard [which I use primarily for my pet portraits], acrylic, and I have recently discovered a renewed love for pastels. Here are a couple of examples of my work:

And a question, can anyone suggest any art contests specifically for dogs/animals? I know there is art show at the dog show but are there others such as online contests and such. Thanks!
